A word about COVID-19

Our offices are currently open. With our wide hallways and commitment to social distancing, we are following local ordinances and CDC guidelines. In the interest of saftey, the practices listed below are strongly encouraged.

Wear a protective mask in common areas.
Maintain a distance from others of at least 6 feet.
Limit elevator occupants to no more than 2 people. Stairwell doors will be propped open.
When meeting with others, use Slack or a similar service. Safe spacing for one-on-one meetings can be accommodated in our conference rooms.

Wash your hands frequently.
Avoid touching your eyes, nose, and mouth.
Stay home when you are sick.
Cover your cough or sneeze with a tissue, then throw the tissue in the trash.
Disinfect frequently touched objects and surfaces.
Be prepared for potential changes to local ordinances.

Alexander Business Suites is owned by UAI Technology, a locally founded company that was only the second local company to purchase land in the Research Triangle Park. UAI’s businesses service the Pharmaceutical and Financial Services industries. It develops software, databases, cloud based technology, and does market research. Two of its companies became Inc. 500 companies. Because of the high tech nature of its businesses, UAI has equipped the building with fiber optic lines, Cisco routers and a building wide Wi-Fi system. Besides UAI, the building is currently home to 16 other early stage companies, who although typically on month-to-month lease, tend to stay from 3 to 6 years, as their business grows from startup through the early and intermediate growth phases.
